Rockport Women's Total Motion Adelyn Laser Loafer Flat - Comfortable Slip-On Shoes for Work, Travel & Everyday Wear

I love pointed toe shoes but I hate the pain they create due to tight toe box. Knowing this, I ordered a wide and they have been wonderful. I used to be a solid size 6 but now I’m in between a 6 and a 6.5. Size 6 is too small and size 6.5 is too big. Because I ordered wide, the 6 fit perfectly. I would like to buy another pair because the suede has faded and the gold foil has dents but 6W is not currently available in black. Even though they are flats, they do have a tiny heel, which I love. A true flat shoes is painful because it doesn’t have support but that’s not the case with these. They do “click” when you walk so it sounds like you are wearing high heels and as my colleagues have mentioned: it sounds like someone important is walking down the hall. The picture of the black shoes does not do a very good job at showing the gold on the cut out part of the shoe. If you are looking for an all black shoe, this one isn’t quite it.I was expecting the shoes to be a burgundy color but instead they tend toward a brownish color. They are attractive but if you're looking for a shoe in the burgundy family, this isn't it.I wanted to try out the Rockport brand because I was looking for a comfortable AND fashionable option for work. We do a lot of walking since it’s a large campus. Uncomfortable heels and flats are not an option. I decided to try a pair of flats first. These looked beautiful right out of the box and on my feet. The toe box was just right considering it’s a pointed toe design. The famous Rockport insert is moderately comfortable, but the back of the shoe... OUCH. My ankles and the backs of my heels are torn up from wearing these flats. Really disappointed. I wanted to love these but I my ankles are in a love hate relationship with them.Very comfy. I bought these shoes to wear during pregnancy. They are super professional looking, and offer support, I don't feel like I'm compromising style for comfort!
