Battery was DOA, like others have reported. Make sure you have an CR-123A battery on hand. The one that's included is a cheap no name battery. Installing the wrist strap was a pain. Other than that it works.It does what It's suppose to do. Show me the yardage to the pin while I'm playing Golf. Other than that, I can't see paying hundreds more.It has red display making it easier to see.Bought it for my husband. He really likes it and says it odd easy to use and sends pretty accurate.Was a bit skeptical but older models had good reviews so took a chance on a newer model. Still much cheaper then branded range finders but works just as well in terms of accuracy…. compared against other range finders golf buddies had during a round. Easy to use. Like both the red and black display options.I recently played a round with my brother in law and my reading were never more than 1 yard different from his Calaway range finder. Save your money and buy more golf balls.There is a manufacturing defect on the set that was sent to me. Thought it was dust and tried wiping it off, but its a black dot and stays on the screen.Item was under 90 days coverage....but Amazon wont accept return. So there it is.Good quality for the moneyI have tried it twice and am very happy with the easy usage this range finder provides. I really like the red display as it defines the readings very clearly.This review is for the Gogogo Sport VPro Golf Range Finder 800/1200 yards with a red display laser and slope switch with 6X magnification. It does some cool things for golfers like lock the flag in, and shows the shortest distance with the scan range, so you don’t have to worry about locking the target behind the flagpole; after you stop scanning, the slope and the slope compensation distance will be displayed. The best part of all that is the manual goes over all of that for us newbies.The company advertises it more as a Golf Range Finder but it’s also good for wider applications like hunting, bow hunting, archery, target shooting and mountain climbing. It also has and adaptive OLED red display that get brighter in a darker environment, so you’ll be able to read the display. It has a liquid crystal display, I’m not sure what that is technically but they say it gives you a clearer view and I must agree. You adjust the eyepiece and adjust your focus to 6X magnification, and it’s made with a curve in the design of the body and fits comfortably in your hand. I’ve used it for different applications and to be honest didn’t read the manual first, I decided to play with it first and it’s straightforward.This last thing I will say is it comes with a battery that’s not rechargeable and that’s an issue for some. Luckily the unit has a low battery reminder but these days everything comes with rechargeable batteries it’s just easier and more cost effective. So, I looked it up and this type of battery does come in a rechargeable battery so there ya go win, win. I would recommend it.The product is one of the better and value for money LRF for use during night because of the the red built-in LRP. A good buy.
